The location is ideal, with grocery stores and restaurants nearby and a short walk to picturesque parks along the river. The rooms are thoughtfully refurbished, decorated tastefully, and equipped with a comfortable bed – the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Our two children particularly enjoyed visiting the ADC Theatre, where we caught a delightful family-friendly performance, while the Scott Polar Research Institute offered a fascinating glimpse into history that engaged everyone's curiosity. The landlord was friendly and offered assistance when needed, checking in with us on the second day. Although we didn’t try breakfast, the continental option sounded promising. The Acorn is a welcoming spot for families, and we look forward to returning for another delightful stay.
